These are cool little handhelds, no record function but they do offer an echo mic!
Not a whole lot of space inside so I concentrated my efforts on the tape speed and getting an output other than the built-in speaker. The results are pretty satisfying. The 2 knobs get you from stock sound, to pitched up or down, and even a crazy warble. As an added bonus, if you touch the RCA jack and the mic capsule at the same time you get a pretty awesome feedback loop.
I also replaced the belts while I was in there.
