Problem: Kaz Painting’s website was performing well in search despite being over 20 years old. After years and years of updates the site was starting in slip in the SERPs and it was decided that a full online makeover was needed.
Solution: After redesigning Kaz’s logo, we decided on a slick, premium, responsive, WordPress theme. After I modified it to suite our needs I added the core pages and copy. Utilizing Revolution Slider I created a functional slider with calls to action for contact by phone as well as by online contact form. In accordance with Google’s “mobile first” recommendations we made all phone numbers click to call, and ensured all pages rendered properly on common devices (ie. cellphones, tablets, desktops).

Problem: Startup Etherium Lighting specializing in the import and manufacture of LED lighting fixtures and tubes needed a scalable, Mobile friendly website to showcase their growing line.
Solution: Utilizing SEO powerhouse WordPress for the back end and Revolution Slider for front, I created an animated intro that showcases several of their key products and uses. Site includes heavy YoastSEO integration as well as being designed using SEO best practices such as properly titled pages and images, sitemap, and meta tags.
Problem: Jim Parker had an outdated website that was not getting much traffic and was consistently on the 2nd and 3rd pages of Google for his industries most used keywords. When users did find his website, they were leaving right away. The bounce rate was around fluctuating between 75-85%
Solution: After customizing a new mobile friendly theme I focused on his content, we needed his pages to tell a story rather than just present information. We documented a few select jobs as case studies and we went image heavy, ditching the common carousels and sliders for a paneled portfolio approach. Next, I added custom titles, descriptions and alt tags to all images in the media library, optimized page titles and descriptions and ran an image size optimizer. Once the website was tuned in we focused on his Google MyBusiness profile, aka his MAPS listing. Making sure NAP (name address phone) was consistent with his website and affiliate listings. I then aggregated his 5 star rating to his SERP listing for his Services and About web pages. It looks great in the search results and none of his competition is doing it. By completing all the information and having a finely SEO tuned website I landed him in the Google MAPS three pack for his local industry search and page one of Google for his long tailed keywords.

Problem: Smokey Bay Seafood needed an easy to use shopping cart system for selling live seafood online in the Los Angeles area.
Solution: Using WordPress and Woo Commerce I was able to get their online store fully operational in a matter of days with products also listed thru Google Shopping. SEO, Ad buying and product management were ongoing. I worked as the webmaster and office manager for this project from 2015 until it ended in 2018.
